Dad’s and daughter’s raise money for charities
“We are thrilled this amount of money has been raised, which in turn will help the organisations.”
AT a recent dad’s and daughter’s camp-out, hosted by the Parents Forum of Grace Trinity School for Girls, an amount of R10 000 was raised, which was equally split and donated to St Mary’s Children’s Home and Balls an’ All.
Deon Henningse (assistant director of St Mary’s) and Mareli MacFarlane (Balls an’ All) came to the school on November 12 to receive their relevant cheques.
“Thank you so much, this will really help the organisation,” said Mereli.
Deon said, “Huge thanks from St Mary’s. At this time of the year especially, expenses are high and every donation is gratefully received.”
The members of the Parents Forum said, “We are thrilled this amount of money had been raised, which, in turn, will help the organisations.”
