Helping the needy amid lockdown
It was such a surprise to those in need to have received manna or holy food from these committed church members.

The charismatic church of King’s Covenant Christian Center of Naturena shared its faith and wisdom by donating food parcels to the needy.
About 50 families received donated food parcels ranging from mealie meal, samp, flour, soup, rice, as well as tinned foods.
“We are humbled by this food bailout from the church. Sadly, we are really grounded by this pandemic, and we really hope that our people will comply with the rules,” said Sphiwe Leburu, one of the recipients. It was such a surprise to those in need to have received manna or holy food from these committed church members.
“We are truly blessed to have had the opportunity to give and be a real blessing to our true neighbours, and friends. It’s our duty as a church to spread the good news, and that’s what this day was all about. We wanted to remind our communities of God’s love during these trying times,” said Pastor Brenda Motlou.
She joyfully said that the church would like to thank the donors as well as members of local CPF’s who assisted and worked hand in hand with the church in one spirit.
A special thanks to an engineering consulting firm called Etilweni Projects that made this blessed day possible.
