#BootsForAfricaSA: Making a difference by donating soccer boots

Hendry said the donations were made possible by Sundowns striker Rhoda Mulaudzi.

The Linda Mntambo Foundation and Boots for Africa donated soccer boots to Persevere Until Something Happens (PUSH) organisation on June 25 in Alberante.

The donations made to the non-governmental organisation were part of Mntambo’s community outreach programme.

Mntambo is an Orlando Pirates FC midfielder who joined the team in 2018.

According to Gavin Hendry, Boots for Africa coordinator, Mntambo is committed to supporting developing players and young, local talent.

“He is a family man who loves spending time at home when he is not playing football. Boots for Africa is proud to assist Mntambo in this great initiative,” he said.

Hendry said the donations were made possible by Sundowns striker Rhoda Mulaudzi.

“Banyana Banyana player and Sundowns striker Rhoda Mulaudzi donated her boots to the cause recently. She has been an ambassador for the cause since 2019,” he said.
