Two suspects arrested, drugs recovered

Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer Raymond Sambo said the investigation continues on the other two suspects for the house robbery that was committed in Duikerhof flats.

Johannesburg Flying Squad members arrested one suspect on March 4 for house robbery that was committed on March 3 in Duikerhof flats, Bellavista.

The complainant pointed out one suspect during the crime operation. According to the complainant, it is alleged that they were robbed by three armed suspects.

They robbed them of household appliances and a Blue Tata Indica. The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest and detained at Booysens SAPS.

A joint operation with Johannesburg K9 members saw the arrest of another suspect in Glenvista and the recovery of khat to the estimated value of R5 000. The suspect was placed under arrest and detained at Mondeor SAPS.

Johannesburg Flying Squad communications officer Raymond Sambo said the investigation continues in the house robbery case.

“Both suspects appeared in the local magistrate’s courts facing charges of house robbery and possession of drugs,” he said.
