JOSHCO tenants score 17% rental discount to celebrate its 17-year anniversary

JOSHCO prides itself for carrying the City’s social housing sector on its back and has done so for 17 years.

The Johannesburg Social Housing Company (JOSHCO) will be honouring its loyal tenants by offering them 17 per cent discount off the rental fee for April.

With over 17 years of providing and managing social and affordable rental accommodation to the lower-income market, JOSHCO will be saving its loyal tenants a few bucks this month.

Only tenants whose accounts are up to date and have been living in a JOSHCO unit for over a year will receive this birthday discount.

“We would like to thank them for walking this journey with us by choosing JOSHCO as their social housing provider of choice,” said Nthabiseng Mphela, the marketing and communications manager for JOSHCO.

The company will showcase 17 of its properties as part of its milestone celebration, these include the historic AA House in the inner-city, Botlhabela Village in Alexandra “Gomora”, Citrine Court flats (one of JOSHCO’s high-rise buildings in the south of Johannesburg), City Deep hostel and Greenfield phase, the iconic Kliptown Square, Orlando Ekhaya flats in Soweto, mixed-development Fleurhof Riverside and Tshedzani flats in Roodepoort.

“Our properties are well-maintained and beautifully structured with cleaning services, 24-hour security and live-in estate managers.

“As the demand for student accommodation is on the rise, JOSHCO will also be launching its first student accommodation in the near future, as well as explore the suburban market by branching into areas such as Midrand, Randburg and Fourways. These will be adding to their overall total of 36 projects,” she said.
