Kenilworth gospel artist drops a single

This is a big break for gospel artist Mandla Majola.

Gospel artist Mandla Majola from Kenilworth has recently dropped his single called Lord I Need You.

He also performed it on Morning Live, eTV on June 21. This single will be followed by a full album that will be released at the end of July.

“I’m excited with my new single and believe the album will be well received. I wrote all 10 tracks,” he said.

Mandla told the COURIER he started singing at church at a very young age. And the love for music started there.

“I was a backing vocalist for rapper Zakwe before I realised that gospel music is my passion. I have done an opening act for lots of artists, including Sipho Ngwenya, Nkabinde Brothers and American gospel singer and songwriter Vashawn Mitchell, to name a few.

“On my upcoming album, I worked with artists like Thembinkosi Manqele and David Dee,” he said.
