Uncle Baboo and Crew continue to spread love and gratitude

Uncle Baboo always appreciates the support the sponsors give to their course.

Uncle Baboo and Crew had a busy weekend on June 26 and 27 when they delivered food to over 150 families all of whom are affected by Covid-19.

They also went to Riverlea to distribute mutton akhni and chicken, and vegetable soup. And on Sunday they visited Reuven Retirement Village, The Hill, Chrisville and Robertsham to distribute soup.

Uncle Baboo said residents came running out when they saw the Crew’s vehicle entering as they were guaranteed a fresh hot meal. “Our service was different as we could not interact with those we fed, in that way we felt a pang of sadness but we are glad we could be of assistance to those affected by Covid-19.

“We extend our gratitude to those who generously sponsored us. We thank all volunteers and crew members who take their time out to assist our community.

“We ask one and all to pray that the Almighty takes us out of this pandemic soon so that our lives can return to normal. We also pray for all those that are I’ll and those struggling other battles during this time,” she said.
