Reuven residents grateful for contributions

Senior citizens of Reuven Retirement Complex thanked everybody who have supported them in the past.

The residents from Reuven Retirement Complex regard themselves as extremely blessed by the various NGOs, religious and cultural organisations, businesses and groups who have donated excessively to the needs of the elderly, who during the lockdown, have gone through extremely hard times.

Many have found it so difficult to make ends meet, having to make do with their government monthly pensions.

Kind-hearted people, endowed with so much compassion and love, have increased their contribution during the lockdown period. This meant so much to those who are struggling to make ends meet.

They cannot express their deep-felt gratitude to those who are unceasingly giving and expecting nothing in return.

Unfortunately, we cannot mention all those who have contributed because of lack of space, but our gratitude goes out to all who have made an effort to add light to our dreary lives.

To name but a few: Past Able Nwabi of the Palace of Praise Church in Rosettenville, Christene Crossley from Meals on Wheels, Baboo and Crew, Predash from Food for Life, Villa Pillay and Anne Pillay representing separate organisations, and so many others.

God bless you all with health, inner peace and happiness.
