MMC for Health and Social Development sworn in
I would like to welcome MMC Sauls to the executive leadership of the City - Mayor Phalatse.

On February 22, a new coalition agreement was signed by the National Leadership of the DA, FF Plus, ActionSA, Cope, IFP, ACDP and PA, charting a path for a stronger and more effective coalition.
Councillor Ashley Sauls of the PA was sworn in as the MMC for Health and Social Development.
“On behalf of the Johannesburg Multi-Party Government (MPG), I would like to welcome MMC Sauls to the executive leadership of the City, and I look forward to working with him and the mayoral committee as we continue to rapidly and passionately build a City of golden opportunities.
“I would also like to thank councillorr Franco De Lange of the FF Plus for his service as a member of the mayoral committee, and for his selfless investment in the stability of the Johannesburg MPG by stepping away from his position as MMC to make way for the PA,” said Mayor Phalatse.
De Lange voluntarily resigned as MMC for Health and Social Development having firmly served the residents of Johannesburg, across all seven regions, with equal passion and compassion.
“Our work as the MPG stretches beyond our respective political party affiliations and focuses on serving the residents of Johannesburg for five years” she said.
