Two females charged with murder after body of baby found in Bellavista

Booysens SAPS confirmed that two female suspects have been arrested.

This is after members from the Booysens Serious and Violent Unit followed up on information since the discovery of the body of a child in Bellavista on April 22.

Booysens SAPS communications officer Capt Lorraine van Emmerik said investigations continue.

“The suspects will appear in court after investigations are completed. The suspects have been charged with murder and defeating the ends of justice,” she said.
