Wearing slippers for a good cause

Staff and learners from Creative Academy wear slippers to support the Reach for a Dream Founddation.

The Creative Academy Group celebrated Slipper Day on May 6, by wearing their slippers to school.

Slipper Day is a fund-raising campaign for the Reach for a Dream Foundation, which encourages the community to purchase a R20 sticker and wear their slippers to school or work for one day.

The Reach for a Dream Foundation aims to fulfil the dreams of children between the ages of three and 18 who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness.

“We would like to thank our parents and families for their support with this initiative; a total of 882 were sold in support of this drive,” said Jenna Axsel, owner of the Creative Academy Group.
