Community invited to Alberton SPCA fund-raiser
Community members are invited to support Alberton SPCA’s fundraiser charity event.
Alberton SPCA will be hosting its unique, family-friendly fund-raiser on July 2 at Olive Tree Nursery and Casa Minha Restaurant in Mulbarton.
The event will be packed with great fun and activities for both young and old.
The work of various artist will be on display and there will also be specials on plants and accessories on offer on the day.
The event which will commence from 09:00 until 16:00 will be a day of art and gardening, having numerous stalls, also offering tasty treats, workshops and more.
Davinos Pizza Restaurant will be having a 20% discount on their pizza, and Casa Minha Restaurant will have lunch specials.
Also on offer are pancakes, scones, fat cake and mince as well as a tea garden.
Robbie Jones, a volunteer at the SPCA, said: “People will not pay for stalls but we are asking for donations. Should anyone want to put up their stalls they are welcome to call us. We have lots of cats and dogs up for adoption and we would appreciate any form of donations for our furry friends.
He said a R20 or more for a donation would be greatly appreciated upon entry at the fund-raiser event.
