Members of Alberton SAPS recently detained a 28-year-old man for possession of stolen goods.
The suspect was nabbed by a SOG security officer while stealing and disconnecting road signs.
Captain Manare Ramotshela of Alberton SAPS issued a strong warning to culprits to not take chances in Alberton.
“The recovered goods were booked in the police storage as exhibits and will be used in a court of law. The City of Ekurhuleni will eventually collect the goods,” he said.
Ramotshela said their station commander applauded all members for their vigilance and a job well done.
