Waterstone College happily celebrated the matric class of 2022 following the release of 2022 Independent Examinations Board results in this week.
The school quoted one of America’s actresses, Kerry Washington, who said, “Your life is your story, and the adventure ahead of you is the journey to fulfil your own purpose and potential.”
Jacques Nel, principal, said they are extremely proud of the class of 2022 and may they continue their legacy which they started at the college.
Head of high school Kerry Bailey said: “We are truly in awe and incredibly proud of our class of 2022. They have epitomised our school’s value of excellence and will leave a legacy as the group that endured a pandemic and still achieved results that they can be incredibly proud of.”
Bailey said she would like to wish them well for all their future endeavours and trust that they will keep the Waterstone fire burning in their hearts.
“A hearty congratulations to the class of 2022,” added Kerry.
“The many hours spent reading the news to stay on top of current affairs, the ethical debates and the dreaded case studies have paid off. We could not be prouder of the business studies class of 2022 and know that any business and the country at large is blessed to have learners with an affinity for industry and entrepreneurship,” said Kerry and business school teacher Miss Chantene.
They concluded by saying that the learners’ time spent in the classroom was at no time a job, but a treat that will be fondly looked on in the years to come.
The school’s results:
• 100% IEB pass rate
• 98.58% tertiary exemption
• 20 A aggregates
• 92% bachelor’s pass
• Four distinctions: 11 learners
• Three distinctions: 11 learners
