Five witnesses will be called in the Forest Hill murder trial that is set for May 23 and 24.
This was heard at Booysens Magistrate’s Court on January 20 where murder accused Kleave van Staden briefly appeared on the stand.
The witnesses include two minors, an adult, a policeman and a paramedic. All witnesses were present in court except the paramedic who is on maternity leave after giving birth in December. She will be subpoenaed to appear in court in May.
Van Staden is accused of murdering his wife, Jamillah, on January 8 last year in Forest Hill.
