Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness students win 149 medals in Free State

Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness students represented the province in the SARMAF National Championships in Free State and bagged 149 medals in all divisions.

Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness students recently competed in the South African Ryukyu Martial Arts Federation (SARMAF) National Championships at the Harry Gwala Indoor Sports Centre in the Free State, representing SARMAF Gauteng.

Students participated in a variety of divisions, including continuous fighting, wooden weapons, bladed weapons, points and kumite, to name a few.

Alberton Martial Arts and Fitness took home 149 medals – 52 gold, 67 silver and 30 bronze.
