Enjoy poetry in nature

Heritage-award-winning Melville Koppies always looks for different activities to entice new visitors.

Come to Poetic licence Sunday, a poetry reading hosted by The Star columnist and poet, Rabbie Seremula, at the Melville Koppies lecture hut on 14 January from 10am and then every second Sunday of the month.

Allow 10-15 minutes to walk to the lecture hut.

Gates will open from 8am, and close at 11.30am. You’ll have time to explore the many trails before making your way to the poetry reading.

There is safe parking (opposite the Melville Koppies entrance) at Marks Park Sports Club, Judith Road, Emmarentia. Security on the Koppies provided.

Adults R90, children under 18, R50 – all funds are used to maintain the Koppies.
