Councillor Faeeza Chame looking forward to a positive year
Everyone in the community must pull together to shape this wonderful society.
Ward 57 Clr Faeeza Chame is excited for 2025, and she is confident it will be a positive year.
She said she wants to express her heartfelt gratitude for the unwavering patience, resilience, understanding, and teamwork of the residents. Despite the challenges faced in 2024, the ward stood strong together.
“I’m thrilled to report that our schools’ pass rate has improved. To our matriculants, I urge you not to sit idling. If possible, pursue further studies or take advantage of free government courses.
“You’ve completed 12 years of education and entered adulthood. I wish you all the best. To our grade ones, welcome to your first year of school! The first few days may be daunting, but make the most of this new chapter.
“To our educators, law enforcement officers, SAPS, security companies, medical workers, cleaners, NPOs, NGOs, social workers, businesses, volunteers, and parents, your roles are vital in shaping our children’s futures. You are the backbone of our society.
“It’s been an absolute privilege to serve as your councillor and I’m honoured to be part of this awesome community. I’m excited to continue our journey together.
“Our collective goal is to create a better society. Let’s work together to achieve this. Remember, the world is your oyster!” she said.
