Miss Earth South Africa and Knights team up for charity golf day in Glenvista

Golfers and sponsors are invited to tee off for a good cause when a charity event taking place in Glenvista brings together sport and environmental advocacy.

Miss Earth South Africa is heading to the fairways this October, partnering with the Knights (marking their 40th anniversary) to host a charity golf day themed ‘Play. Connect. Make an impact.’

The Miss Earth South Africa Golf Day takes place on October 27 at Glenvista Country Club in Vorster Avenue, Glenvista.

Registration opens at 08:30, with a shotgun tee-off at 09:00 in a Four-Ball Alliance format.

Entry costs R6 000 per four-ball, which includes a goodie bag, green fees, halfway house refreshments, a prize-giving dinner, and a golf cart.

Beyond the round of golf, the day promises a full afternoon of entertainment and giving back, including an auction and raffles, a dinner and prize-giving ceremony, and a broader focus on supporting sustainability, tying the sporting event back to Miss Earth’s environmental mission under the banner ‘Drive for a greener tomorrow.’

Businesses and individuals looking to support the cause can sponsor a hole for R6 000, offering branding visibility across the course while contributing directly to the event.
