Following a swift response from Fox Tactical Units and SAPS, a suspect was apprehended on July 31 on the N12 highway near Voortrekker Road in Alberton.

“We received information from SAPS detectives in Hillcrest, KwaZulu-Natal, who requested assistance in locating the vehicle. We investigated and tracked the vehicle to Alberton,” said Fox security officer Donovan du Toit.

The suspect, wanted for fraud in KwaZulu-Natal, is believed to have embezzled R132m. The company involved and the timing of the fraudulent activity have not yet been confirmed.

The vehicle was booked in as evidence, and the suspect will be transported back to KwaZulu-Natal to face charges.
