Suspect arrested after series of house break-ins in Glenvista and Mulbarton
Glenvista and Mulbarton residents are urged to remain vigilant as investigations continue into a string of residential burglary cases, with authorities working to determine whether the arrested man is connected to additional incidents in the area.
A suspect allegedly linked to multiple house break-ins in the Glenvista and Mulbarton areas has been arrested following a coordinated effort by Fox Security.
According to Fox Security, the suspect was identified through CCTV footage, and his description was circulated to the company’s armed response officers to assist with patrol operations.
During a routine patrol, Fox Security officers spotted a man matching the description.
When they approached him, he allegedly fled on foot. Following a brief chase, one of the officers apprehended the suspect.
The suspect was handed over to the Mondeor SAPS, where further investigations are underway.
Fox Security commended its response officers for their vigilance and swift action, saying their efforts continue to contribute to the safety and security of the communities they serve.
