Ward councillor candidates invited to introduce themselves ahead of elections
The Southern Courier is inviting candidates in the area to share their plans and priorities with voters ahead of the municipal elections.
The Alberton Record / Southern Courier invites all ward councillor candidates contesting this year’s municipal elections in the Alberton and Johannesburg South areas to step forward.
Candidates can introduce themselves to voters, outline what they stand for, explain their plans, and share why voters should support them.
Interested candidates can email cvdwalt@caxton.co.za with the subject title ‘Elections ward candidate’ to receive the questionnaire.
Candidates who take this opportunity will have their questions and answers published online in the weeks leading up to the local government elections.
The publication of these Q&As aims to inform readers and voters about the candidates available on election day.
Candidates must respond to this invitation by October 15 at 12:00.
No campaign slogans or rehearsed speeches will be accepted – just the questions and answers.
To participate, email cvdwalt@caxton.co.za to request the questionnaire.
