Finally the stretch of long grass cut in Ormonde

Just after days the Southern Courier published the ‘Long grass a fire hazard’ front page story (March 19), the grass was cut in Ormonde.

Excited resident Jorge Ferreira wrote: “Grass has been cut. Thank you again Southern Courier,” he said.

We will monitor the situation throughout the year.
