South Hills water tower is still on 0%

Councillors Michael Crichton and Cllr Faeeza Chame update on the South Hills water tower.

Councillors Michael Crichton and Cllr Faeeza Chame released a statement about the South Hills water tower this Wednesday morning.

According to the councillors, Johannesburg Water said the South Hills water tower is sadly still on 0%. When we asked if the maintenance work is done at the Palmeit Pumping Station we received the following answer: “Yes, they are according to the plan. It ended this morning at 5:00. We will continue monitoring and sharing any improvement on South Hills and Alexander as the day progresses.”

They said they will continue to press for further information. Hopefully, the work is indeed done and it’s a matter of the system now building up. “We will continue to seek information.”
