Mondeor SAPS raises safety awareness

Mondeor SAPS’ social crime prevention unit and the station’s junior commissioners joined forces to lead an awareness programme in Mulbarton.

Mondeor SAPS’ social crime prevention unit and the station’s junior commissioners led a school safety programme at Frontline Christian School on August 30.

At least 40 grade four to 12 learners were offered peer-to-peer engagement on cyberbullying and its consequences.

They were taken through the processes of the Child Justice Act and the consequences of committing a crime.

The programme was a huge success. Education students from Rosebank College Braamfontein also joined Mondeor junior commissioners and SAPS.
