Ward 54 meeting highlights water pipe repairs and community concerns

Each portfolio committee member addressed the main issues in their portfolio.
How the water pipe repairs in Crown Gardens on the G20 pipeline will affect the surrounding areas was one of the key issues they discussed.
Ward 54 Clr Stuart Marais spoke about the process of dealing with issues in the area.
“Ward committee members would have to bring important issues to me, then regarding their issues in their portfolio they must compile a monthly report which goes through ward governance,” explained Marais.
“We, as a committee, will seek to resolve as many community problems as possible; as soon as possible.”
