Joburg Sport brings joy and nutrition to children
In partnership with Headstart Kids, the City of Joburg's initiative brought milk and noodles to children in areas like South Rand and Rosettenville.
The City of Joburg’s Sport and Recreation department, in partnership with Headstart Kids, brought smiles to the faces of hundreds of children across the city’s 7 regions.
Between April 2 and April 3, the department distributed milk sponsored by Douglasdale Dairy and 2-minute noodles sponsored by Kellogg’s as part of the school holiday programme.
The programme benefited schools like Laerskool Suidheuwels in South Hills and fed kids at the South Rand Recreation Centre.
This initiative promoted healthy lifestyles and supported the well-being of Joburg’s youngest citizens.
