Christmas party for children at lifestyle estate

Treats and fun for children from orphanages and foster homes.

Balwin Foundation hosted a Christmas party for orphanages and foster homes at the park in Balwin Thaba Lifestyle Estate on December 9.

Among the homes that attended were Kids Haven, Derloperhuis, Tweedy, Mother’s Nest, Veiligheidshuis, Hope, Faith & Grace and VC Foster Family.

Children were taken on a 1.3km walk along the trails before enjoying light snacks under the cool shade of the park’s trees. A variety of games were planned for them before they sat down for lunch.

It was a fun outing for the children and they thoroughly enjoyed the day.

Other stakeholders who helped make the event memorable included Balwin Annuity, Just Darling, Water Heroes, Aquelle, Olives & Plate and Michael Labuschagne Electrical.
