Strive to be an above-average person

Being average is an insult when you have gifts and talents.

“All I knew is that I never wanted to be average.” – Michael Jordan

Every day, every one of us is given a gift of 24 hours. No one has to ask for it or work for it, it’s freely given to you. No one gets more or less of it than the other.

The difference lies in how you choose to use it. Those who are part of my coaching system will tell you that one of my popular questions is: “What house are you building? Glass, brick, wood, or mud house?” Without honestly answering this clarity question, you’ll find yourself being up to date with trending news but out of date with your dreams!

Having clarity of your target is extremely important. Without a clear target, everything becomes a hit.

In a world where we are drowning in a sea of information, having a clear target helps you make wise choices and this makes you an above-average person.

Mostly, stress, anxiety, and depression come from not having clear targets in life leading to chasing everything that moves and that becomes a recipe for disaster.

Greatness and being average don’t co-exist, it’s one or the other. Being above average is about intention and it introduces you to a better life and sets you apart from the masses. It’s like choosing a life partner, you intentionally choose it. It becomes a habit to do just a little bit more than an average person does, it’s that simple.

That’s where the NeuroEngineer comes in! Let’s be honest, with the gifts and talents you are endowed with, being average is an insult to yourself.

So, be motivated by the fear of being average. Let 2025 be a year you will look back at with pride and a smile.
