Amazing tree felling team in De Villiers Street, Turffontein

With all the stressful and painful construction we are going through in De Villiers Street, Turffontein, we were seriously impressed by the tree felling team this past weekend.

They dealt with one of the oldest, most dangerously positioned bluegum trees, which is definitely one of the most difficult dead trees that had to be dealt with. This tree is between Leonard and Moffet streets along De Villiers Street.

This was an extremely difficult and dangerous job that many others did not want to handle. After cutting down at least 10 huge branches, of which the majority weighed a minimum of over a tonne each, the end of Sunday saw a job well done with no damage to overhead power cables, street lights and especially no damage to anyone’s property.

I really want to commend Loretta of Ayodela Business Enterprises and her whole team for a job well done!
