Poetry on Melville Koppies

Heritage-award-winning Melville Koppies always looks for different activities to entice new visitors.

Come on Sunday, November 12 for a poetry reading by poet and journalist, Rabbie Serumula between 10am and 11am at the Lecture Hut.

Seremula writes the weekly Poetic Licence column in the Saturday Star.

The Koppies will be open as usual from 8 am to 11:30 am. You can enjoy a relaxing walk in nature and then listen to Rabbie. Or if poetry is not your thing, hike the 5km hike, book a guided tour (R100 pp – leaves at 8 am sharp), or just meander along the many paths.

Safe parking (opposite the Melville Koppies entrance) at Marks Park Sports Club, Judith Road, Emmarentia. Security on the Koppies provided.

Adults R90 children under 18 R50 – all funds are used for the maintenance of the Koppies.
