LFC International Academy soccer school programme

The Liverpool Way’ to aspiring local footballers across the region via a series of weeklong Soccer School courses.

LIVERPOOL Football Club International Academy South Africa are excited to announce a series of new dates to their soccer school programme throughout November and December.

Taking place in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban, the International Academy coaches will offer their coaching expertise and ‘The Liverpool Way’ to aspiring local footballers across the region via a series of week-long soccer school courses.

The courses are a welcome extension to the ongoing academy development programmes currently taking place in Durban and Johannesburg, and the soccer school programme will commence in Johannesburg on November 28, running through to December 3.

Dan White, head of LFC’s International Academy in Liverpool, said: ‘‘We’ve had a lot of requests from fans in the area so we’re sure the courses will prove to be popular.

‘‘Coaches from LFC will be travelling out to South Africa to deliver the sessions to the young players, providing opportunities for participants to learn to play ‘The Liverpool Way’ in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. We’ll be focusing on the development of the core technical skills, as well as the psychological, physical and social aspects of the game. The programme will follow the same philosophy and coaching principles that are delivered at the LFC Academy to ensure the participants get a fantastic experience on these camps.”
