FILLING in an entry form at Burger Perfect and Pizza Perfect in Glenvista for their Rugby World Cup Burger Perfect competition made a Bassonia resident R10 000 richer.

Marvin Edgar Bransby reveived his cheque for R10 000 from the Burger Perfect and Pizza Perfect store owner, Luigi De Camillis, and brand manager, Lindi du Plessis, on November 13.

“I couldn’t believe it when Lindi called me. I entered but I didn’t think I would win,” said Bransby. “I haven’t decided what I’m going to do with the money but the wife is excited because obviously the money is going to go into the home.”

Luigi De Camillis said: “This competition raised brand awareness for the store but more importantly we gave something back to our customers to say thank you.”

The Rugby World Cup competition saw over 2 000 entries with Bransby coming out as the overall winner. Entrants had to purchase any of the rib meals, fill in the loyalty card and enter the completed card to stand a chance to win.

Entrants did not walk away empty handed as some of them received instant prizes for taking part in the nationwide competition.
