Resilience gymnasts successful in Cape Town
Well done to these boys and girls on their achievements in a tough competition season.
GYMNASTS of Resilience Gymnastics Club had successful competitions during the SA Games, held in Cape Town during the October school holidays.
This, after they qualified for this event via regionals and provincials held in September.
Several gymnasts took part in women’s and men’s artistic gymnastics levels four to six, while one gymnast, Kewarona Sefatlhe, took part in rhythmic competitions.
This was the first rhythmic gymnast taking part at this level since introducing rhythmic at the club three years ago.
Seth van der Merwe took part in artistic gymnastics and also the tumbling section level five. This third time Gauteng champion finished in third position overall at the SA Games.
Well done to these boys and girls on their achievements in a tough competition season. We are proud of you all.
