PRESIDENT High School cheerleaders took part in the Tshwane Youth Festival on August 21.
There were no winners; it was just a festival to showcase the talent of the youth.
They also took part in their first official competition on September 10 at the Tekkiefees in Vereeniging. Here they competed against Hoërskool Transvalia, Hoërskool Driekhoek, Vereeniging Gimnasium, Potchefstroom Gimnasium and Hoërskool Dr Malan. They were placed fourth.
