The much-anticipated Vodacom Durban July on July 7 at Turffontein Racecourse.
IF you’re looking to enjoy a race-day in Jozi because you missed the boat in booking your trip to Durban to celebrate the much anticipated Vodacom Durban July on July 7, then head on down to Turffontein Racecourse from 11am for an action-packed day of racing.
Eleven races carded on the day, excluding the main attraction, will have you fighting for air amid all the anticipation and excitement of who will win this year’s R4.5-million Vodacom Durban July.
Entrance to the course is R50 per person for adults which includes a R30 voucher while under 18s are free. There is a variety of hospitality options available for the whole family.
The Aquanaut Room, located stand side with views of the straight and the parade ring caters for up to 500 guests and, believe it or not, tickets are selling fast.
For the less formal patrons, why not book the City Deck and Furious Room? A beautiful covered, outside venue where you can almost feel the energy of the parade ring and the ground shake as the horses come galloping down the straight towards the finish line.
Of course, if it’s a little bit of opulence that you’re after the Racing. It’s A Rush Members Lounge is the place to be. Two packages are available – the Silver and Gold packages are nothing short of spectacular. Remember there is a strict dress code that applies in the Members Lounge: gents are encouraged to dress smartly – jackets/blazers are a must; ladies – of course, your best ensemble is at the order of the day.
