July fever hits Turffontein Racecourse

JULY fever was at the order of the day as many race-going patrons could not make it through to Durban but instead, they gathered at Turffontein Racecourse to experience the excitement on July 7.
Greyville racecourse hosted some 55 000 fans during the Vodacom July as they watched Dot It Again ridden by Anton Marcus from the Justin Snaith stable pulling the big one off with Anton Marcus steering him clear of the field through the finishing line.
Having most of the excitement of Saturday taking place in Durban and top jockeys participating on the day, Turffontein gave those jockeys not attending the July a chance to show their worth at July in Jozi.

The main feature race saw Francois Herholdt on Inn A Million to take full honours in the main feature race of the day World Sports Betting MR 82 Handicap.
