Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic to host mountain bike marathon

The Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic has established itself as one of the most renowned one-day MTB competitions in the North-West Province. The entity invites them for yet another mountain bike marathon on June 3.

The Fedhealth Magalies Monster MTB Classic, the most prestigious one-day MTB event in the North West Province, will be held at ATKV Buffelspoort on June 3.

Mountain bikers of all ages and skill levels can participate. They can choose between a marathon (±65km), half marathon (±33km), fun ride (16km), and a kids’ event (2.5km) that highlights the Magaliesberg’s breathtaking roads.

Managing director of Stillwater Sports, Michael Meyer, said that most people’s resolution for the new year is to get into better physical shape. Contestants in this race are sure to succeed in that endeavour.

“It’s called #TheMonster for a reason, but with sufficient time in the saddle, it can be conquered with ease. The event takes place in June, so mountain bikers have sufficient time to get fit and improve their technical skills.

Being prepared for an event adds to the experience and we’d like all entrants to have the best possible experience on event day. Enter with a group of friends and spend your weekends together in the outdoors enjoying nature and getting fit,” said Meyer.
