Round three provided some interesting results in the Castle Lager Pirates Grand Challenge.

The Alberton Rugby Club hosted a thrilling day of rugby at their home ground on May 4, drawing a large crowd of supporters.

Teams competed in round three of the Castle Lager Pirates Grand Challenge.

Here are the highlights:

• U19s: Elande dominated with a 50-13 victory.

• U21s: Wanderers won narrowly 12-5.

• Fourth team: Elande secured a close victory, winning 15-14.

• Third team: Wanderers clinched a tight win, 27-23.

• Second team: Elande continued their winning streak, triumphing 22-17.

• First team: Elande shone with a convincing 35-5 win against Wanderers, highlighted by a try from Ryno Hendriks.

The matches showcased top-notch rugby and strong community support for both teams.
