DP World Lions Blind Cricket team celebrates Mandela Day with 67 minutes of service
Disability is not inability, cricket team shows the power of kindness.
The DP World Lions Blind Cricket team came together at Wanderers Stadium to celebrate Mandela Day on July 18 by packing 5 000 Ashraful Aid meals for communities in need across Joburg South.
Meals were distributed to community members from La Rochelle and Rosettenville.
This initiative was a testament to the team’s commitment to giving back and honouring the legacy of Nelson Mandela.
The event was filled with unity, compassion, and purpose as the team worked together to pack meals that would make a real difference in the lives of others.
Their efforts were guided by the belief that disability is not inability, and that everyone has the power to make a positive impact.
By dedicating 67 minutes of their time to service, the DP World Lions Blind Cricket team showed that even the smallest act of kindness can leave a lasting mark.
