The event showcased a high standard of youth football, with participation from respected and competitive sides, including the prestigious Mamelodi Sundowns youth football.

The tournament featured multiple age groups and provided a valuable platform for player development, team preparation, and community engagement ahead of the upcoming league season.

Despite minor weather interruptions, teams demonstrated excellent sportsmanship, skill, and passion throughout.

“We are incredibly proud to have hosted such a vibrant and competitive tournament,” said the technical director of Linhill Celtic FC, Tshepiso Lekaba. “It was fantastic to see young talent on display and to welcome clubs into our environment. Events like these are key in building relationships, developing players, and growing the game at the grassroots level.”

Sundowns delivered an outstanding performance across the age groups, taking top honours in the tournament.
