‘Ballade vir ‘n enkeling’ secures second place at box office

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Ballade vir ’n Enkeling secured a second place at the box office in its opening weekend.

Ster Kinekor Entertainment, the distributor for the film, is very happy with the excellent performance of the film over the opening weekend. “We believe that the success at the box office will increase during the school holidays that is around the corner. Feedback from the public is overwhelming positive,” said Pieter Geldenhuys, Executive Marketing Manager of Ster Kinekor Entertainment.

The team behind the film is very thankful for the support of South Africans, especially towards the first 27 500 people that went to see the film over the opening weekend. These theatre-goers contributed directly to the opening weekend figure of R1 358 075.
