Conformity kills creativity, ideas and dreams. Now is the time for you to snap out of that common consciousness of wanting to be like others. The solutions to the problems this world is facing lie in your creativity. We are all born with talents (potential), but no skills. A skill is something you develop. It requires time, effort, energy, passion, perseverance, commitment, planning among other ingredients.

I have heard of so many people who have been said to have a ‘potential’, which, unfortunately, never resulted to useful commodity; many have died with it and others are still being told the same thing: ‘You have potential.’ I liken this potential to a rough diamond, which will remain rough until it is put under extreme temperatures, cut to whatever size, polished until it becomes something of great value. So, we are all born with potential, which is raw and which you (not your partner, teacher, boss or friend) are responsible to convert into something of value. I was also told, ‘Veli, you have the potential to motivate people,’ and I never realised how serious and truthful this was. Instead, I continued with my engineering work, mathematics, statistics, etc. I finally ran out of excuses and used the ingredients mentioned above to develop this skill I am sharing with you today. I converted the potential into something of value. You can do it too.

I wish I could tell you there is an easy way to success, but there isn’t. Focus, Your dream is calling you.
