JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Police officers from the Johannesburg Cluster of Firearm, Liquor And Second Hand Goods Unit (FLASH) arrested a number of suspects on Wednesday, October 7.
The officers, partnered with City Power officials and patrollers from private security companies, arrested two suspects for possession of a large amount of stolen copper in Booysens. Scales and angle grinders were also confiscated. The officers, patrollers and City Power officials then went on to disconnect seven illegal power connections.
