Lions face top-of-the-log leaders

Xerox Golden Lions to play Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

Xerox Golden Lions will have a tough task when they face top-of-the-log leaders Free State Cheetahs in front of their home crowd.

The Currie Cup match will be played on Thursday, September 15 in Bloemfontein. The match starts at 19:00.

Johan Ackermann, head coach of the Lions, has opted to make two changes to the side that will play the on-form Cheetahs.

Andries Ferreira replaces the injured Lourens Erasmus at lock and Cyle Brink comes in for Ruan Ackermann who drops down to the bench in a rotational move.

Martin Muller joins the bench as back-up lock and Pieter Scholtz as replacement prop.
