Moffatview SAPS arrest more suspects
More suspects taken off the streets.
MOFFATVIEW police officers arrested a total of 47 suspects in connection with various crimes, between Tuesday, September 4, and Sunday, September 12.
The offences and the number of suspects arrested are: armed robbery – one, common assault – five, attempted murder – one, assault with intent to do grievous bodily harm – nine, home burglary- two, fraud – three, housebreaking and theft – one, illegal immigrants – six, malicious damage to property – two, possession of dagga – seven, possession of suspected stolen property – one, rape – one, reckless and negligent driving – one, shoplifting – three and theft – four.
