28 ALBERTON Lions’ annual golf day will take place on May 28 at Reading Country Club. Enter a four-ball at R2 400, which includes a halfway voucher, dinner and prize-giving. First tee-off time is at 11.20am. Funds raised will go towards the Lions’ community projects.

20 SAVE the date! Känguru’s annual fun run/walk will be on July 20. Get your family and friends together and come and join us on this day. Run/walk starts at 8am at Känguru Foundation, 43 Garthview Raod, Kliprivier. Tea and coffee available to fight off the morning chill. Food and drinks will be sold. Let’s make it an even bigger success than last year. And don’t forget that Känguru, as being part of the IFB group in Germany, will be joining in their celebrations for their 60th birthday.
