Condolences to bereaved families of three Pikitup employees
The MMC would like to extend his heartfelt condolences to the families of the three deceased gentlemen during these trying times and wishes that their souls may rest in eternal peace.
The MMC of Environment and Infrastructure Services Department of the City of Johannesburg, councillor Mpho Moerane, has learnt with shock of the passing of three Pikitup employees during the festive season.
“The deaths of Absolom Mkhumbeni from the Central Camp depot, Melvine Jacobie from Waterval depot and Godfrey Tshabalala from the Fleet Department left a void which will be difficult to fill from all those who have known, lived with and shared moments with them.
“This is a very difficult and painful time for us as an organisation as these three gentlemen were valued employees and will be sorely missed,” the MMC said.
The MMC extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of the three deceased gentlemen during these trying times and wishes that their souls may rest in eternal peace.
He further appealed to all employees and management of Pikitup to protect themselves and keep safe from the Covid-19 pandemic by strictly adhering to the regulations and protocols as provided for in the adjusted level three of the Disaster Management Act.
