Bereaved remembers family member who died of Covid-19

A bereaved family remembers their family member who died from Covid-19 related complications.

On June 20 we lost our mother. We could not have a funeral or mourn her death.

This ‘death reaper’ waits for funeral people, and then steals their souls without a warning or a fighting chance.

Our mother initially went into the hospital for a heart condition. Brave like a lion, not knowing how Covid-19 would ‘hunt her down’.

Diwanthee Maharaj, formally from Palm Ridge, would have been 77 years old on February 26.

All we can do this birthday is to come together as a family and share all our precious memories. That is our advice for everyone who has lost a friend or family member. It’s all in God’s hands.
