Rhythmic gymnasts show their skills

Rhythmic gymnasts win medals galore.

Elite Rhythmic Gymnastics Club competed at the Central Gauteng Gymnastics Association (CGGA) Novice Competition recently.

Once again, Elite gymnasts proved to be very successful and they all did extremely well receiving all gold medals and two silver.
They will all receive their junior Central Gauteng colours.

Rhythmic gymnastics is an ideal sport for girls in the development of hand and eye coordination as it teaches them to dance with music while handling apparatus like a ball, hoop, ribbon, clubs and ropes. This is an elegant sport with a lot of time spent stretching for flexibility and body strengthening.

Girls from the ages of five and up who are interested are welcome to join and try out a free class at the Doxa Deo Church hall in Meyersdale Estate on Tuesdays and Thursdays for 3pm to 5pm.
